Building the backbone
of reliable systems

I'm Rishikesh — a DevOps Engineer based in Kathmandu, Nepal. I build and maintain the cloud and on-premise infrastructure that teams depend on: from Kubernetes clusters and Terraform-managed AWS environments to the CI/CD pipelines that ship code safely.

Currently at Rara Labs, managing hybrid infrastructure across both AWS and bare-metal. Before that, I spent over a year as the sole infrastructure engineer at RevKeter — a US-based startup — owning everything from ECS cluster architecture to DNS, SSL, and production observability.

I care about making infrastructure legible: if something breaks at 3 AM, the dashboards should tell you why before you've opened a terminal. Outside work, I volunteer with AWS User Group Women in Tech Nepal and stay active in the DevOps Kathmandu community.

Manage hybrid on-premise and AWS infrastructure, maintaining Kubernetes clusters and automating provisioning with Terraform and Ansible across both environments. Hardened security posture by deploying Wazuh for SIEM and real-time threat detection. Built CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for zero-downtime microservice deployments, with full observability via Prometheus and Grafana.

Sole infrastructure engineer for a US-based startup, responsible for all AWS infrastructure from day one. Architected Terraform modules covering ECS, VPC, RDS, ALB, and S3 across dev, staging, and production. Automated the full deployment pipeline with GitHub Actions and ECR, eliminating manual release steps. Built CloudWatch dashboards and alarms that gave the engineering team full visibility into production services.
